hey mate, if you want black, u might as well get a carbon fibre one..

because by the time you buy a fibre glass bonnet, and then get it sprayed, u would probably paid the same as the carbon..

thats just my two cents

Just keep in mind that you are opening up a hole in your bonnet therefore rain can get in...

Carbon fibre bonnets are illegal according to other threads on here, but fibreglass if it is an approved one isn't, don't take my word for it but thats what I've read....Cost me $350 to get my fibreglass bonnet painted, but I did pick up the bonnet very cheap brand new. Don't forget bonnet locks they are recommended for all CF and FG bonnets, aerocatch all way for the locks...

If its just going to be a fibreglass with a layer of CF over the top then whats the point go fibreglass or get a full carbon fibre and expect to pay easily over $1200...

um well the engine is alloy.... so corrosion will be annoying and also your coil packs are on top of the engine in a well like area so you want to make sure you have your coil pack cover on and its water tight...

ive heard not to get your engine bay wet due to all the sensors in there. sensors get wet = damage and need replacing = hassle and waste of money.

Also i personally think that CF looks great, but if its going on a black car it looks a little odd... im getting fibreglass for my black GT-T

Cheers
