Car Cutting Out On Full Throttle.. Pls Help

hey all, got a bit of a problem, i have a s2 r33 running cooler, turbo bak exhaust, pod filter. recently i changed the fuel pump on it for a bigger size (040 equivalent). since doing so, the car has been running extremely rich and also when i give it fill throttle, the boost seems as if it is spiking and it cutting out causing the car to run like hell..

any ideas what this could be, its confusing to explain but it almost sounds like the car is bouncing off the limiter and makes a popping noise and cuts out when i giv it fill throttle..

any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I can't make any comment about your running rich problem but the engine cutting out sounds very much like boost (airflow in a Nissan) cut. I assume you are running stock ECU and stock turbo..There is heaps of info on this so do a search...

got the same prob AFTEr upgrading fuel pump everyone i have spoken to recomends retune

Yeah sounds like boost cut, best bet put it on the dyno and get it checked out

Sounds like factory ECU safety settings. Time for a new ECU and tune.

PS. Keep the boost at 10 psi if you have the original S2 turbo, the compressor wheel is plastic by the way.
