Stock Intercooler Question

Hi guys,

This is my first post and i just like to quickly say how good this forum is. Its tought me alot about skylines and options to upgrade them. Theres some clever ppl in here and i like to congratuate . ( Im not trying kiss arse lol ).

Anyways, i have a r33 gtst mspec.

Upgrades include TBE, airfilter with stock afm, fuel pump, boost controller.

I just wanna know whats a safe boost level for these coolers.

Before and after a retune.

I want to achieve around 200-210kw max. Do u think it will cope???

A R34 GTT cooler would see 200-210kw no problems.

Yeh the R34 cooler is a good little cooler. Cheap and easy, plus doesn't add much lag. The only time i don't like mine is either when i'm hitting it hard = heatsoak or when it's a boiling hot day = heatsoak.

You can hook up the rear water spray to squirt on the cooler, or just allow it to cool if it's real hot.

I currently have a r34 cooler tuned at 200kw and its holding fine!!

Get rid of the stock r33 cooler, and get yourself a r34 one or either a fmic!!
