Hi all,

My power steering like has got a severe leak in it!! It is only one part of the line, one of the flexi parts of it, just wondering if I should just get a cheap second hand one from a wreck or should I get the flexi part done in braided? Anyone know where I could get a second hand one from?

Thanks.

Joe.

PS. Here is a pic of the line, the first one shows the line, the second one shows where the line joins to on the power steering pump. It is the line that goes from the pump all the way across the X member over to the rack.

I had one of them leak in a 32 at work. You can get it quite cheapely repaired from places like Enzed etc Braided line would be a waste of time and money in my opinion. The rest of the system will still be original. Go with the normal repair or second hand.

Yeah, I was just talking to a mate who is a mechanic as well, he said they are heap to just get repaired, I thought they would have to replace it with braided line, but he said they just replace it with the standard kinda hose stuff! Sweet corn!
