There somthing wrong with my R34 (GTT-no engine modification)... It began long time before I was cruising down the freeway, and then some dude went to change the line, so i just released a bit of my gas pedal then when he moved lane i tried to accelerate again but all of a sudden the engine, TCS off, slip lights came on, which apparently results in my car wont accel like it should do, the sound from my exhaust is somehow roaring and coughing.. and it does vibrate more when u tried to boot the gas pedal... But when I pulled over, and leave it for a minute or two, its completely back to normal, but u can smell like rubber burning from near the rear wheel... Keep getting this kind of problem but not too often, anyway my 5000k service is due in 2 weeks anyway, i thought so ill just wait..

Anyway I brought my car to 5000k service over in down under auto who also imported my car.. ask them bout the problem, but after the service they said nothing's wrong with ur car

Well the problem still came occasionally and will be gone if u leave it for a minute or two, went to the auto tune once and they said u gotta go to a garage who has the computer shit for R34, so it is easier to find, just plug it in and u'll know where did it go wrong...

I havent had a chance to do it though since i dont know which garage has one.. and the problem didnt pop up lately...

But around 5 days ago the problem came again when i actually wait for my order in mcd drivethru without anyhing to do with the gas pedal or clutch and another one came yesterday when i waited my friend with an engine on like exactly happened in mcd drivethru?

So has anyone overcome this problem or have any idea about what it is? Help me guys!!?

Thanks alot for reading it anyway...

i'll tell ya what...

stop driving the car, next place you should take your ride is to a workshop that likes working with Sky's...

if there's no $ just save up dude, i have no idea what's wrong with your car but i have never heard of that happening to anyone's car

don't want it to get worse and worse and then cruising on the freeway in the middle lane your car just starts spinning and you end up in hospital, be careful dude that's my2c

Repost this in Forced Induction section, you'll get your answers quicker.

To me, it sounds like somethings cause the ecu to go limp mode, but find a workshop that is familiar with 34s & can get consult on it... but the problem may be caused by sporadic issues (eg. afm wires coming loose momentarily)

Ring around a few workshops and see if any of them recognize the 34s symptoms.

this is not that uncommon , not common but I have seen it before on a few r34s.

i think it is a problem with one of the sensors , probably the TPS

but as its pretty intermittent it can be hard to diagnose when its not happening , usually theres no stored error so consult doesn't help much when its fine

is it a triptronic ? if it is i would get it checked out because possible tps issues can cause gearbox problems

Definitely something wrong there, I have an auto and it should only flash 'slip' when taking off hard under wet roads, or taking tight corners hard at from 1st -> 2nd under high revs.

Maybe your auto box is about to die. I wouldn't drive it till you find out what's wrong imo.
