I have an R32 that is running a lean fuel mixture on 16psi is there anyway to fix this problem without remapping coz i cant afford that at the moment and ive been told my Veilside computer cant be remapped anyway. It was pinging at 16 due to this so it is currently running 14. Also let me no if anyone has any rear tein struts they want to get rid of

If its got a stock fuel pump I'd replace that or at least get it checked to to if its running out of pressure at high rpm. I gather the Veilside ECU would be programmed for jap fuel, so perhaps get hold of some toluene and mix up some high octane juice?

Or just keep it at 14psi?

Have you had the car on a dyno yet to check the AF ratios.

If you are leaning out only at higher boost, perhaps look at a rising rate fuel pressure reg. Otherwise an adjustable would do the trick. Eitherways it wouldnt hurt to upgrade your fuel pump.

If your car has been tuned for higher octane, another option may be to just pull some timing.

but I highly recommend you get the car on a dyno first, as this will tell you alot more about what is going on

just some thoughts

I was gonna say I think Jap fuel is 104 ron .... either way it is tons higher ron than the shite fuel we get here .... so if your ECU is tuned to Jap fuel you'd wanna get it remapped ASAP b4 u blow a motor.
