Hi all, Just have a quick question.

Just about to put some splits in the rear just need some advice on how to take the plastic panels that sit over the speakers out.

I have attempted to take them out, however seems like im damaging the plastic the more i try and pop them out.

Dosnt look like they are held in by any brackets. any help would be appriciated.

i believe the rear seats and whole parcel shelf need to be removed to access without breaking them....i havent done my r34 as already had speakers changed over but have done a r33, the seats and parcel shelf need to be removed.

yeah rgr34 is correct.

I had to take the back seats out first, then the rear parcel shelf came free.

Taking the seats out is easy.

For the seat itself look to the bottom left and right corners beneath the seat, two bolts have to be removed.

For the back rest, it is sitting on a hook from memory. You need to push the back rest up and out. It should come free.

I think you just pop the parcel shelf off from memory.

Good luck :O

Hey Darren...

It easy mate... dont take the plastic covers off.... install the speakers from under the shelf and keep a stelf look, and it saves you from removing the shelf, seats and side panels have to come off. I think the screws are still there mate.

Don't install splits in the rear, just do 2ways ok. Because splits are for front stage only.

Don't forget what I did for a job for 6 yrs bro.

Call me if ya need some help k

P.S

Did I tell you there are 2 alarms in your car....lol

Just under the bonnet release there is a chrome switch flip it and then you can use the key alarm aswell.

Cheers for that lynden. Yeah I went to gold coast car sound the other day, and the homo's there said splits were the way to go. So I bought some matching dd-linears.

Yeah I was wondering what that was haha, however we ripped that out when putting the new alarm in.
