Installed Manual Boost Controller, Car Wont Start!

Hi guys, im new to this site. As topic states, installed a turbosmart boost controller now the car wont start! RB25, it had open hoses from the actuator and the pipe that leads to the blow off valve, it ran and was drivable. Fitted this now it barely starts, if it does it only runs for about 2 seconds then dies! Its sounds like its starving for air. Any advice on what it could be?? Thanx guys

Doesn't sound like the problem is the boost controller ... it wouldn't stop your engine completely like that.

Try retracing your steps to see if anything else came loose or got affected.

+1. its in the area where you would have been working and is likely you unplugged it to get to the wastegate actuator or even accidently unplugged it.

wow interesting problem, check that all plugs are in solinods all good, bov (is atmo's) is not too loose...

I agree with everyone. Your car will start (but not boost properly) if the controller is on the wrong way. Your car WON'T start if a sensor is unplugged or a vacuum line isn't connected.

Check everything you worked on.

If you really belive its a turbosmart issue give them a call there allways more than happy to help as long as it was purchased through an approved workshop or store. If it was purchased through ebay then your out of luck as no tech support or warranty through ebay sales
