just wondering when/if victoria will ever adopt the 'any combination' plate that nsw has. ie AA33B2 etc. because it would really add a whole new world to number plates

I think it may be like our phone network [PSTN] if they run out of numbers one day they may decide to expand into 7 digit or re-grouping the digits as you have suggested.

well, i was wondering this myself, cos on queens birthday weekend... i saw a commy door wagon.. and it had something like VNS3TT... of course i had a double check and it was definately a number in the middle and definately a VIC plate.. hmmm

yer i wanted a plate with a combo, they didn't let me...which suked, coz i wanted SL33K

and be warned, they are some wat sensitive about what you get...things like drv-by they wont let u have
