Getting Boosted. Much Gain?

Currently got a R33 with a full 3 inch exhaust and air pod. Its still running stock boost. Im planning to get some extra boost in her.

What sort of gain can i expect?

At the moment its lacking down low and mid range.

I will have to agree!!! It makes such a difference. I was blown away (almost literally) the first time I increased the boost on my 33. You will love it.

depending on your other mods for me...

7psi = 190rwkw

12psi = 203rwkw

So i'd probably expect 10-15rwkw difference.

Excelent, im after any gain i can get, top end is good, but i want some meat in the mid range.

Does it pull strong mid range, because at the moment with stock boost it seems to be only strong from 5000 to redline.

if u get a boost controller, it makes the boost come earily by shut down the waste gate, so u get more power all the way to red line.

I only just got the car a few days ago and I was giving it on 7 psi then towards the end of the first day I went up to 10-11 psi and boy did it pull!!! BOOST RULZ!!

yeah it only seems logical to increase boost cos

1) the engine will take it no problems

2) the factory boost setting is quite conservative

3) the stock turbo is able to withstand higher boost (not too high though!!)

4) the stock intercooler should be able to handle round 10-11 psi of boost... i think
