Split Cv Boot....where To Get Fixed?

Hey all,

Just doing a bit of work and noticed the inner right CV boot on the GTR is split and leaking oil everywhere. Haven't fixed one before, does anyone recommend a good CV place around the city? If not, how hard is it to do, do I need to pull the whole shaft from the gearbox to do the inner boot?

I had CV and driveshaft specialists do mine on my old R32 GTS-4.

I think it was around $130 for both inner and outer boots and labour.

Is that for one side or two. Damn, I recall paying $180 to do my TH Magna.

That is for one side inner and outer boots.

The one i went too was at pooraka but ther is a mobile one that comes to you. i just cant find the number for it yet!!!!

Any good mechanic should be able to do it for you as well if you know anyone trust worthy in abd around the city.

The CV boot "kit" from Nissan is around $68 delivered if you want to stay genuine
