Hey,

im running a PFC computer and putting in a 040 fuel pump this wkend and doing the relay trick so that the pump runs off 13.8volts and making the pump ground on chassis... does this meen that the fuelpump resistor is no longer needed?? can i remove it from the enine bay and just leave the wires ther and tape them out of the road??

cheers

That should be ok, The resistor artificially raises the ground point so shouldn't be in the circuit anymore.

*edit: Are you sure the resistor is in the engine bay? I thought it was behind the drivers side rear trim section 'c' pillar trim?

can you show me a picture of the resistor.

ahh i dont have a pic, but it looks just like the GTR injector resistor pack and it sits next to the power steering resivour. I know non turbo r32 rb20de does not have them...

yeah mate thats it, but standard it is a little to the left around the strut tower. So can anyone confirm if this is the fuel pump resistor pack or a air regulator as ive been told...

i believe its the resister for fuel pump and i guess i dont need it with the volt mod yeah??
