Diff Just Blew

hey fellas drivin back from work today and pulled up a the lights went to take off and bang made a hole the size of a 50 cent piece in the diff and a few bolts fell out just wondering if any one nows good place to buy diff for a decent price i need a full diff assembly cheers

well its a locked diff do u no of any its for a r34gtt

Call a wrecker mate, put better oil in next time and try not dump it as much.. Enjoy

Locked as in,you have pulled the diff out before and had it modified to lock?

well i had lsd oil in it good stuff to the people i bought it of said it was a very exspensize diff it cum with the car so yea but hey ill work it out thanx for the help fellas

traders on the forums offer KAAZ 1.5way and 2way lsds for around $1050 delivered... maybe cheaper. And basically get a new housing from a wrecker, or if you know people in the industry ask someone to weld the hole shut... not like there is much pressure inside there.

if its a locker, you dont need LSD oil. any diff oil will do.

strange that it blew tho... i would suggest that whoever reassembled it didnt do all the bolts up tight and after a few clutch dumps its just left go
