Pffft, nah guys dont waste your time. Bring on the T51R for this motor, or a T88. I could probably get a T88 to use.

What sort of rev limit is expected for this setup? Also the head used would play a part in the results of the bottom end, will the head be a stock head? If not, what specs for the head :P

Edit: The more i think about it, the more it appeals to me having the T51R hanging off the side. GTR is definatly the platform to try that sort of thing on. Cant wait. Now have 2 spare rb30 blocks as of today

It will be less than the std RB30 crank, as it will now be an under square bore / stroke ratio.

why so? same bore/stroke as the 2j (even compared to the 3.4l 2j stroker at 94/87)

Because under square engines dont like to rev as hard due to piston speed, ie longer stroke but its relative to set up where power is made etc.

My rb30 stops making power at 7500 and is limited to 8000 rpm.

I have a customer making 706 rwhp in BA XR6 - that big 4 litre only turns to 6000 rpm and makes peak power at 5400 rpm :-)

For a street car thrashed at the track, half fill or quarter? Dont know much about block prep and grout filling

All bar an inch, inch and a half from the top. That's where all the heat is made anyway.
