confak
I have found this turbo the 17cm one fora good price. I was thinking to put it on my RB25det. Would anybody hapen to know it uses the same bolt pattern to the standard exhaust manifold? Also i think that this turbo will be pretty laggy so i was wondering if it was possible to use a smaller trust exhaust comp. Maybe from a TD05 or a TD06 to bring boost on earlier. ould anyone know if these housings are interchangable or not and the difficulty/cost involved in doing something like this. meggala
not worth it con unless your doign the 25/30 conversion it would be very laggy and the exhaust housing woudl probbably cost more than the turbo also you need a trust manifold Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/21283-trust-td07-25g/#findComment-449285 Share on other sites

confak
Also i have seen plenty of second hand TD05 turbos off lancers going around. They seem pretty cheap so would it be possible to use the ex.housing of those? meggala
I'm not sure about these turbo but i know they have different flanges and are normally top mount not low mount like your stock turbo. also you will need an external waste gate it would be perfect for your rb2530 but a waste on a stock rb25 talk to your work shop they should know cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/21283-trust-td07-25g/#findComment-449366 Share on other sites

Guest INASNT
If u r gonna spend money on such a nice turbo then u would want a custom made manifold to high mount it and ext gate. Thats when the $$ figures jump up. I am in the process of doing a 3037, custom manifold and ext ate at the moment and its costs alot of $$ to do it right Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/21283-trust-td07-25g/#findComment-450493 Share on other sites
