hi, im thinking of getting a FMIC..but i dont like the idea of having a pipe hanging over the motor and hitting the bonnet. Dont want a new custom intake plenum either. What other options do i have? I have seen a ARC FMIC being sold here once that said it follows the original route. What other brands are there in aus that sells similar FMICs. are there any drawbacks of this arrangement of piping? And whats the price range.Websites would be helpful. Cheers.

Just jap kit using stock pipes is about $550 if I remember from another thread.

AVO also make fmic's using stock pipes.

and here comes the usual question.

do you have the stock turbo?

if so, why not just replace your SMIC with an R34 SMIC for $150.

it is more than capable to flow and cool what the stock turbo can throw at it before it throws it's exhaust wheel.
