My car just run out of rego, do i need to renew it or is a permit ok? Wont be an issue to get rego its just that i plan to leave the car in the shed for the next few months.

car doesn't need to be registered for the event mate - but you will need to get it down there somehow

A few questions:

1) Will there only be one car at a time on the back track or the skid pan at any given time?

2) Fire extinguisher necessary?

3) I'd dress in full length cotton and leather shoes (and helmet on the back track). Is that OK?

4) Are the 'winners' on the skid pan and the back track based purely who gets the best time( s )?

I'll be using my Wakefield license, which is AASA certified (confirmed with Wakey on the phone).

well actually the answer to the first one is kind of - there may be 2 cars on the skidpan but only 1 on each course at a time. Its not full on racing - just a chance to have a ball thrashing your car the way nissan would want you to

Yes. Anyone in a car on the back track will need a helmet.

AASA license is $50

If you don't have your cams back in time ring them up and ask them to fax you a temp one.

To add on to that, neither the driver or passanger need a helmet on the skidpan.
