Nope, will be fine, just depends what you want. What kind of turbo is it? 30 series garrett or something?

been lookinh at the tr43=440 hp and the tr43hf =500 hp

i want the highflow one but you need an exsternal wastegate but you dont on the other one ...

what is the normal price for a turbo installation ? considering its got a t3 flange ?

hey bud, I just did this exact upgrade...

s1 r33 turbo .... to hypergear tr43.....not highflow

so far I have mixed feelings about this....

the sort of bad.....

I havent had it tuned yet..(i have a power fc that was never really tuned, just knew it would come in handy when I did start big mods)...and the r33 turbo was sooo responsive... this only comes on hard at bout 4,500.... or so.. but I have been told a good tune by dr. drift (on the 8th of April) will make all the difference in response.. so I am hoping so... but judging by the dyno sheet on their website it still looks like quite a responsive turbo.

my standard injectors are maxing out at a complete 100% when it comes on boost... so I will need new injectors, fuel pump, fuel regulator

the good...

really strong on boost... when I first got the car back and went.... crap i have wasted my money.. there is no boost... I hit 5 grand and screamed for my life  while smiling my ass off... it is a big jump in power from standard 33 turbo

I considered how far I was going to go with this engine before dropping a gtr engine into my gts4... and I couldn't justify a 1,500..2,500 turbo to be used for another 2 years and then the hole engine sold/used for parts/put in another car.

I would say....this turbo (with the correct mods)would pretty much take you all the way up to forging your engine..

also...I spent 300-400 on turbo install? the guys I go to are really cheap and really good with skylines...

anyone correct me if I am wrong with any of my assumptions...but as long as this is more responsive after a tune I would say it is a bloody good bang for your buck turbo!
