Qtr Mile Times For My 32 Gtr?

Recommended Posts

Drags are on tomorrow night.

What do y'all think I'll get with a 2-2.3 sec 60ft?

Car is R32 GTR (in rwd)

340rwhp

275 Kuhmo tyres around my 19s...

OS triple plate clutch

I'm hoping for somewhere around the 13 flat mark as I haven't had the car that long yet and I'm not the fastest gear changer...

Any input on how to launch rwd cars etc?

Fixed.

Depends if you can keep it boosting chris.

All that lag is eating up the time. thats why you should downgrade that turbo or make some more power with it so that when it does hit its worthwhile :)

Trading off that much response for 240rwkw isnt really worth it. Get it retuned to run the boost it should be! 25psi! lol

You better be doing quicker then what my 165kw commodore did in RWD this time chris! hahahaha

actually it was a semi-final >_<

i like no.11 too "had too much grip"

and no.14 "had too much power"

Final as in quarter-final, semi-final or final. I would never credit you with making a final round anywhere mate. That's what your missus is for. :(

haha.

Well its in rwd because the 4wd is broken. Something wrong with the oil control switch...

Yeah grant, it'll run better than your commie. And when you learn how to tune my power fc for free instead of me having to drive 8 hours i'll get it tuned! :D

Nah, next brissy trip i reckon ill get it tuned for around 18psi.. depends how the injectors go. they're at 90% now but its also ridiculously rich.

Couldn't get the power down AT ALL>

Worst 60ft times you would have ever seen lol. Got in a few runs, but just couldn't work out the best way to launch with this clutch.

I think my best run was 14.7 at 107mph with 2.843...

Other runs:

14.7 at 108mph with a 2.874 60ft

14.9 at 106mph with 2.83 60ft

16.5 at 103mph with 3.06 60ft

15.4 at 104mph with 2.92 60ft

15.1 at 106mph with 2.96 60ft

15.2 at 102mph with 2.75 60ft

20.6 at 45mph...missed 3rd lol. still only had a 3sec 60ft though.

Any ideas on the best way to launch with this type of clutch?

Next time I will soften the rear coilovers as much as I can... Don't want to have to buy slicks as I like it to be full street times, but I might.

275's great traction

Forgot to mention, although its obvious... 275s did absolutely nothing. I ran better times on half the boost with 245s. Kuhmo Ecsta are not a great tyre at all. Couldn't even get traction in 2nd gear.

go back! u can do better! lol

LOL. I'm determined to get a good time in rwd now. Any good ways to launch other than riding the clutch?? Someone on here has got to have similar or more power and run on street tyres.......

I think you meant 14 sec GTR.....................

No, it's not slow. You should know that after driving it to and from last night. Just a bit slippery at the start line. Reeled in that commonwhore last night pretty easy!

    • Hello, I am looking to replace my two rear drive shafts in my R34 N/A Skyline but I'm finding conflicting information. Do S13/S14/S15 or R32 NA/ R33 NA fit? https://justjap.com/products/gsp-premium-rear-drive-shaft-l-h-nissan-silvia-s13-s14-s15-3x2-type?currency=AUD&srsltid=AfmBOoqY7EwDaYCUoUU3mxxZ_qrUXkVVHiV4MIN7ozoar6scjnEiekv- would this fit?
    • Hoping they release an R34 getrag pull type.
    • You need the bottom spacers, to make it a 3/4 height injector. https://www.efihardware.com/products/3040/injector-adapter-lower-for-extended-nose-injectors   And you'll need to buy the right injector bosses, these "might" fit. You'll need to measure it up. https://www.nzefi.com/product/raceworks-lower-injector-mounting-boss-kit-for-r33-rb25det-s14-s15-sr20det/
    • Unless there's something particular about the Greddy manifold's injector holes that I'm not aware of, those injetcors look to be totally wrong. They would absolutely want to be spaced up to get those long snouts out of the runner. Which, I think, is not usually the way that that problem is solved. I think the problem is solved by using the correct injectors, which would be much more like what Andrew posted.
    • Thanks for the reply, So i've continued playing around, and fitted the injector adaptors onto the injector, the fuel rail is not able to be mounted now as the injectors sit a bit further out. I suppose the point of the adaptors is so that the injector nozzle isn't so deep into the intake? I suppose 1mm extra on the o-ring would do it but still can't mount the rail onto the intake haha. Waiting on a reply from Aeroflow I'm sure there's something stupid that I'm missing...
