Unless your existing injectors and/or fuel pump are a restriction, doing nothing but changing your injectors and pump will not give you a performance improvement. If I remember correctly, at anything less than around 220rwkw (give or take a bit) it's unlikely you'll need to change either.

Keep in mind that changing how much fuel the engine is getting will most likely mean a retune, and if you have the stock ECU, you'll have to replace it with something that can be tuned.

Yes as putting in larger injectors and not changing the tune means it will be pouring more fuel into the cylinder each stroke...

Hence you will burn through fuel like no tomorrow...

In short, to make more power you need;

1. More fuel

2. More air

3. More ignition or at least just good clean ignition

Of course for all this to work you ned to balance the above and fine tune the quanities of each of the above listed...

So in short bigger injectors by them selves will do bugger all...

That also said, if you arent going for insane power, you might be able to get away with a bigger pump and an aftermarket fuel regulator, just enough to force that extra bit of fuel through.
