The front end of my 300gt is creaking and according to the guys at G35 Driver its the Compression Rods.

Has anyone here had them replaced yet ?

i suspect its cheaper to get them from overseas, are there any reliable contacts ?

Don't have time to read the whole thread, but if it's the creaking you are talking about, then yeah I get this too, but only in the mornings coming out of the driveway. Later in the day, it seems to stiffen up a bit and it's fine. Another problem I have which I think may be related is the car drifts to the left while driving.

Are compression rods another for shocks ?

TTT - I am getting stacks of creaking from the rear of my V35 sedan. I have taken a look and everything seems to be in order; though the creaking has become vairly loud most of the time. What is a compression rod? I was thinking that some parts probably need a bit of greasing - has anyone resloved this issue?
