I'm a network engineer so needless to say I dont know a hell of a lot about fixing/servicing cars but its kinda turned into my hobby, my brother in-law is a mechanic so i pester him about stuff. I also just wanted to say that i cant get over how many DIY tutorials there are there great.

Yeah i've never had a problem getting a job. actually this one was offered to me, i didn't even have to look for it. you just have to be willing to move where the work is. Construction in Sydney has slowed down a bit, but inother places like western NSW there's plenty going on. I grew up out this way so it was an easy move for me. 4 years of HECS to repay does make a dint into the pay though...
