Point to this is if you don't receive a email then either i am to busy thinking or i don't like you LOL.

That is what I do for a living.

Hahaha dun i feel like a tool bag... come on give me a little break im newish to this scene!! if it isnt in Hot4s i dun know about it LMAO

there's re runs of the show on SBS, just check your tv guide.

Never too late to get into top gear. Good entertainment

back on topic...

I work for Nissan in new vehicle sales, It's in a large multi-franchise dealership so it's not like working at some dingy car yard.

Lots of perks such as brand new company cars, company supplied fuel card (life saver at the moment), lots of bonuses from nissan like gift cards and vouchers for doing what I'm paid to do already.

Turns out I'm pretty good at what I do so I'm making a killing and I've been where i am for almost 2 years now, I see lots of guys not even last a month.

Downsides is long work hours, have to work most weekends (just means I can't stay out as late as I used to), some people can be pushy or just d#ckheads, same story when I was working in retail so meh.

evens itself out in the end i guess.

how can i get into a job like ur? i'm very keen on selling car

It was all by chance for me lol,

my dad was buying a murano and I came along to keep him company, had a quick conversation with the manager and he invited me to an interview.

I entered the industry as a trainee which means you get stuck with all the bumb jobs and usually a probationary period (average 3 months)

I guess you could ring around and enquire about traineeships at dealerships near your area if you're not experienced in sales.

(I had previous sales experience working for telstra, so it helped a lot).

There were lots of times when I thought about quitting but I stuck to my guns and now it's paid off for me.

It helps if you are motivated about the product you're selling, I couldn't work for Kia lol.

Downsides are long work hours/weekends, but as I said before I was already used to that when I worked in retail.

Some customers act like @rseholes, but you get used to it and just becomes like water off a duck's back.

There are also lots of perks to the job, so you take the good with the bad i guess

If it's something you're passionate about doing and your personal situation allows you to try out a new career for a few months then go for it.

I'm turning 21 this year and I can afford to pay off (and maintain :P ) 2 cars and I'm saving up to buy a house by the middle of next year, nothing special but something to get me started.

More than I can say for most friends/people I know at my age :)
