Hows it going guys..

Been searching through threads to find relation with my problem... but no luck :D

I've got a set of Toyo T1rs on the front with fresh proxy 4s on the rear, back when i had shitty tires on the rear the car would handle well but lack grip in the rear.

Now with the proxy 4s it seems that i've got much more grip but the car rolls into the tires and then straightens out. It doesn't feel as nimble anymore. it's hard to descrbe the boat like feeling.

The steering seems to be a bit delayed also, body roll is evident.

Current tire pressure are 34psi all round after lowering (try fix the problem) them from 40psi. I also tightened up my tein suspension which helped a bit but not as much as i would have liked.

The car is a 32 GTR, im doing some track work tomorrow and im sure the problem will get resolved with time/ tuning, i was hoping someone could add in some extra ideas i could try before i get onto the track.

Im thinking about tightening the teins a little bit more and maybe putting some more pressure back into the tires.

Cheers

The easist thing to do is play with tyre pressures. Especially as you have an AWD car and running different tyre types front to rear which is never a great idea if you are chasing good balance.

I think until you get your head around the car then just leave the shocks as they are and get tyre pressures right.

I too foudn that once i started running grriipy tyres that my suspension that was great on low grip tyres started to struggle with body roll and pitch.

BEst place to start is same tyres all round then make sure your ride heights are ok. Since you are about to hit the track...i stay stick with tyre pressures, start high and work your way back as generally street tyres like pressure. Or at least i found

She's all stock part from the tein coilovers.

Definately going to have to do some research in regards to a suspension package.

So you haven't even fixed the camber?

Added more (much needed) caster?

Removed the HICAS?

etc etc

Changing the rebound damping is going to do pretty much diddly squat for the handling balance. You'll just feel a bit better 'cause you did something.

Cheers

No haven't fiddled with camber & caster yet, don't want to go in over my head just yet. Need to learn a bit more. :(

Removal of HICAS will happen in the near future.

Going to have to follow 32 GTR suspension group buys in the future.
