Whats This Hose For?

noticed this hose seems to be partially disconnected, or at least not as well connected as its other end.

Is it ok the way it is or is it likely to come off under pressure?

That goes to my BOV and charcol can on mine. From the look of it, it has broken off at some stage and the rough end put on, which is fine but the 12yr old hose could be farked as well, which is why it broke in the first place. If you bend the hose sharply does it show fine cracks? If not cut it off that damaged bit neatly and push on i use tiny zipties to be sure it stays.

the hose seems pretty pliable but I think its been cut once before. There is a stand-off on the intake that looks like it would hold this hose clear but there isn't enough slack to get it up there. probably worth getting it replaced.

Is the other end connected? If it is, I'd just push it on. If if works its way off again, then grab some cable ties to hold it on. Everyone has some! Again, if that doesnt work, then get a small hose clamp. It doesnt look like it would carry too much pressure, so I dont think it would be anything to worry about. Looks like it has been replaced once before, judging by the unstraight cut

To be safe use a small Hose Clamp to hold it on.
