Importing A Car Inerstate

hi,im a newbie in all this stuff.. i really need your help,guys... the experts!!

im going to buy a car from WA,without the rego.. and im in melbourne..

So i need to register the car in melb rite? and what are the processes?

do they have an inspection of the car before the registration? if yes,how do they inspect it?

is it an import? has it been registered in WA before? or straight from Japan?

Not sure about the three month thing but make sure you have the Consumer Information Notice document prior to re registering.

The CIN is a printout that explains to the consumer what the compliance workshop did to get it to ADR standards.

you might want to thoroughly check the details of the accident

"Statutory write-offs

Statutory write-offs are damaged vehicles that are deemed unsuitable for repair, as the damage is too severe.

These vehicles are known targets of car thieves because they can be purchased at low cost.

The vehicle’s VIN will be recorded as a statutory write-off.

Statutory write-offs are ineligible for registration in Western Australia and in any other jurisdiction within Australia. "
