Was a great day at Lakeside yesterday. congrats to Paul!! well done mate!

man thats awsome, never thought id see the day of cars on lakeside again. i didnt even know they were having a track day out there.

When i was leaving lakeside i saw a Bright Orange HSV GTS pulling into the golf club with a golf cart trailer...

Anyway, the number plates on the HSV was "GEOFFS"

Next Time Attack day is May 14. Time Attack Series Round in the morning and normal track day in the afternoon with a beginners group that will get extra tutorials in the briefing room and track side tutoring.

No timing gear is setup at Lakeside yet, so it was down to personal timers and the like, though I did overhear a couple of times that the yellow 33 got 1:01 1:02 or so, bloody quick car/driver that.

No timing on the day. Facilities were not available. The guys are doing a great job restoring the venue and I'm sure we will have timing soon.
