hey guys, noticed earlier today as we arrived at final stop on sauwa cruise...

As i pulled up to park i notice the car is idling at 1600rpm, was good at the last stop, i thought it might just be because the car was hot after a thrashing through the hills, but i drove it home slow and still it idles at the same rpm... Also when i give it a quick tap on the pedal it lowers the rpm then the engine kinda kicks to one side then the revs go back up!!

Help??

Guy

try and look for any vacuum hoses that came unplugged.. my celica was doing the same thing the other day and when my mechanic found the unplugged hose we were laughing our asses off :D u can also try and use a flat head screw driver to adjust your idler located near the 'thing' that u pull and revs the engine from the engine bay :D

i have no idea what the problem was but its fine now, im guessing maybe the coilpacks just hot... other than that, no vac line off or anything, mind you it makes sence, thrashing her for about 50 minutes straight, just wierd that it took that long to cool down, took all night!!
