Hi guys, fitted some new rims of the forums a couple of weeks ago now, and since then, always seem to get at least one nut on each wheel working a little bit loose while driving. When this happens I get quite a lot of vibration through the wheel and can physically hear it. When I tighten them back up, it goes away for a little while. At first I thought maybe the wheels just needed to be balanced, so I thought no worries and took it to the local tyre joint, but it is still doing it. While it was there, they would have picked up any buckles in the rim or anything and mention it to me, but nothing, so just wondering what everyone else thinks it could be.

I am using the standard wheel nuts, and never had the issue with my stock 32 or 33 rims. Any ideas?

Do these wheels sit on the hub correctly? Ie when you put the wheel on the car does it sit centrally or drop onto the studs?

I had problems with my rims vibrating/coming loose as the hub centre on them was too large. Got some hub locators made up (CNC'd from marine grade aluminium) from a local wheel specialist. Fitted them too the wheels & problem was solved :D. Was still worth it in my case as I got the rims 2nd hand really cheap.
