My Pride And Joy Gone...........................sold

Recommended Posts

Yes my baby is sold  on car sales after only 2 weeks. Sold to good home as the bloke who bought the car is goin to spend about 20 grand to make it a tarmac car and he is goin to enter Targa Tassy this year. how mad would that be can you imagine? If you were at last christmas cruise may R32 gtst was black with gold rims and gold stripe on the side.

However the fun begins now :P as I'm in the market for GTRRRR, any sugestion to which one 32, 33 or 34 or which one will give me less trouble??? breakdowns etc...better value for money?

Cheers

dave

It was sad to see my 2 hot plates drive away last friday into dark, but let me tell you James this bloke from central coast is serius dude and he is goin to send me the pics and I'll go to see the car run.

Also I can understand why he went for Skyline given the aftermarket and spares support not to mention the price easy choice.

All you racers out there (the real ones) you know how much fun this is I can only wish but at least my ex car will be there.

You tell them Duncan.

Go for a 32GTR next, the moeny you spend on a stock 34 GTR could get your a very well modded 32 with extra cash to blow on hoes

Hmmmmmmmm.............................................?

In that case. Just don't buy a skyline. Haha..

Sad to see her go..

Ah remember the day's when she was looking stock :D

If you want a R32 GTR i have one in my garage you can have for $18000...

Can you give me a bit more description of your car condition, mods etc.. is there anything wrong with it or needs to be replaced soon, service? rego? cluch condition, boost stuff like that?

I am after as stock as possible GTR and I do prefer 32 shape however.

Cheers

    • Hello everyone, I am from Malta and have recently bought myself a fully stock 1992 Nissan Skyline GTS. It has the RB20DE engine and thus is NA. Unfortunately, not a lot of information can be found online related to the GTS, unlike the information for GTS-T and GTR variants. Apart of the Skyline, I also got a 1984 Porsche 924 2.0l NA and a 2002 Renault Clio 1.5DCi for everyday use. Excited to be apart of the community and perhaps get better information on cars such as the GTS.
    • The fuel pump bracket just slides straight up.  Below is a pic I stole off a site. But basically put hand in for fuel pump, wiggle it all about a bit while pulling up.
    • Went digging Duncan, there's another "item" that sits down under the plenum that the second pipe from the IACV goes down to. I believe that's the one that is apart of the cold start portion, and it then comes back up under the middle of the factory top plenum. I believe you will find it is unneeded on the forward facing plenum on Cheryl.   I just went digging further for some pics on the location of the one way check valve, and found something that confirms my thoughts from the first half of this point. I feel you can just block off that port that is coming down.     I can also confirm, the other line that you were thinking for vacuum that will just need a one way valve put into Cheryl is 100% correct too. The one way valve is normally screwed into the back of the factory inlet plenum.
    • You’re an absolute legend man. Cheers.
    • The rule of thumb for any GTR thats doing a single turbo conversion is..... seqy... and when i say seqy, i dont mean the pos PPG either. *flamesuit on*
