Ok, since Texikhana is held at the Sutton Road complex which is on the outskirts of Canberra the event is a road trip and accommodation is going to be required for most people.

Last year a lot of people stayed at Eaglehawk which has cabins that can sleep a fair few people. The cabins usually have one double bed and bunches of bunks. They charge I think $85 first up then $15 per person after the first one. Usually couples take the big bed and everyone else takes a bunk. They can sleep heaps but 4 or 5 is probably most comfortable, particularly when it comes to showers. So it ends up around $30-35 which is pretty cheap.

Eaglehawk is located at the other end of Sutton road to the Sutton Road Driver Training Complex. It's about 20km. There is a pub there with decent food so what usually happens is that everyone makes their way down on saturday when they can - no doubt there will be a number of groups going - and then we all end up at the pub for drinking and eating until they close at about midnight. Sunday is race day. It's a great social weekend away.

What I want to do with this thread is have everyone who wants accommodation post up here. I will group you up - or you can do it yourselves and let me know - then we will arrange the bookings.

Am I going to this?

You tell me.

I'm in :O , just dont let Doofie get control of the key card for power or the heater sheesh what a night ( it was a laugh though :D ).

Is it possible to stay an extra night to come home monday?

You will have to organise this with them however I will flag it with them. Are there any coasties or others from your way staying the extra night?

    • Currently when the car is parked at home, I have the added security of a galah sleeping next to it 😂😂 that bird is louuuuuud   But yeah, I want the viper system soon and saving up for it. Probably the next one after nistune
    • I genuinely bought this car because I never got to enjoy it when I got my first GTT in 2015.  I’m a simple man, give me a skyline that goes reliably from A to B and I will be happy. I mainly like driving it when the roads are quiet so you can relax.  Nothing wrong with a few mods here and there but it wouldn’t be instagram worthy 😂
    • You have been hanging around, I thought you would have been gone by now for sure. Though sounds like it's working out for you Thank you sir. No doubt we will cross paths again at some point!
