Apexi Power Fc Boost Control Kit Install Help

Hey

I recently purchased a Apexi Power FC boost control kit for my AP Engineering RB20 Power FC

The AP Engineering Power FC is a 3 pin so the MAP sensor plugs into the Power FC but the solenoid needs a +12v and a switched ground/earth running to it to control boost properly

The problem with the R32/RB20 is that there is no switched ground/earth running into the engine bay as there is no standard boost solenoid, unlike the ECR33

To have the solenoid operate correctly I need to run a switched ground/earth wire from the ECU to the engine bay to connect to the solenoid - problem I have found looking at the wiring diagrams for RB20 is that pin 25 has no wire connected

To be honest I CBF running the wire from the ECU so as a last resort I thought I'd put up a post here asking if anyone else has a 3 pin Apexi Power FC boost control kit running on there HCR32

How did you connect it up?

Whats the easiest way to go about it?

add a pin to wire 25 on the ECU blue plug

then run this wire to the engine bay and then source 12v power from somewhere else

run the wire 25 to the black wire on the boost solenoid and red is 12v from somewhere
