Hey Everyone,

I own a 96 gtst s2 r33 and the abs light stays on. i have done a diagnostic check on the ecu and there are no errors, this is where i am stuck because the abs is working but the light stays on. I have checked and cleaned the sensors the unit itself is not leaking, brake fluid is fine the only thing i havnt done is followed the wires to the relay etc. does anyone know where this relay is located, or pics of it or does anyone have any sugestions on what could be wrong?

By the way i had an alarm put in, but i saw the bloke and he told me he didnt connect wires to anything to do with the abs!

Plz Help!

OMG i got the exact same problem.

Just happened out of know where an hour ago

Was at friends house from morning, drove the car around to go get lunch etc (No problems at all).. So when the time came to come home, turned it on and noticed the light was on.. strange!! so kept driving.. still on!! Turned the car off at the lights, turned it back on and still on.

Drove home, car felt normal. Brakes work as per usual.. Hard-braking the car pulls up nicely.. NO dramas!!

The brake fluid resivor is full.

Thats all i have checked so far.

Got told by a friend that the fuse could be gone. So will check that tomorrow.

Nickandsarah - check your fuse (located under the steering wheel - green one.. so i was told)

hey there yeah i had a look today at the fuses under the steering wheel but couldnt find an abs one,

i know there r 2 in the engine bay fuse box but i think they r ok! well they dont look damaged or blown

but i dont have a series 2 english fuse diagram for the inside fuses i will try and find one!!! how did you go

did you fix yours?

you will find that the ABS fuse is in the engine bay fuse box.....mine blew *dont ask why* and i struggled to find info and stuff till a bit of playing around helped me there.......the ABS fuse is a 30A fuse in the fusebox in the engine bay....looks brownish in my s1 r33 so could be the same.....they are sorta hard to get hold of....

good luck
