i have noticed for about a week now that everytime i put the clutch pedal in i can hear a loud squeaky noise coming from under the car.

i have only just got a exedy sports tuff clutch put in about a month ago and i went back to my mechanic yesterday and told him about it and he thinks it is the clutch pedal itself and not the clutch as it is brand new and i havent been riding it or dropping the clutch.

but he cant take a look at it for a while cause hes busy, what do you guys n gals think?

its pretty embarrassing driving around especially when im about to pull up and all you can hear is squeak squeak.

thanks peoples.

or the pivot ball. i had the same squeak, some deep lubing spray got rid of it temporarily but would always come back especially after a good period of rain. just as the mech to re lube everything if you cant do it yourself. I think a good hit of grease will do a better job than a spray maybe.

is it a constant squeak or just as you are pushing the pedal to the floor? if your holding the clutch pedal in and its continually squeaking then its your throw out bearing. if its just as you push the pedal to the floor then it will be what the other guys are on about, a dry pivot ball.

nah its not constant, its only when the pedal is pushed in.
