Nismo Digital Dash

Guys,

Ive got an R33 which has a Nismo 240km Digital Dash. Apparently the centre screen in the dash was used as a satelite Nav. system in Japan. Its currently just blank obviously cos the Jap nav system was dissconected.

Has anyone seen / heard of these????

We need a pic of the dash, not the car.

I have seen them b4, but only as a 2nd hand part, for sale at a dealer, on the net. Wouldn't mind seeing one in the car.

REPRAZENT: I've heard that you can modify them to run inputs, as per S15 monitors

though ... never heard of them in this case, where they're actually run inside the dash (have only heard of the inputs as part of the factory optioned nav system, not a nismo addition)

thats a epson driving information processor. kind of works like the r34 gtr display.

probably replaced it cos it had a lower reading on the odometer.let me guess your car only has 12,000 ks???

Thats the EXACT same dash as the Red JUN car in C-Red... Its a TFT tv hooked up to the HKS CAMP system... its pretty cool... It has a fish screensaver and apparently the harder you drive the more psycho the fish go!!!

Apparently it has RCA imput right to go so I can play DVD's throu it.... was just wondering what ppl knew about the digital dash. Thanks guys

There are companies who can make japanese tv screen system work in australia, (such as Toyota Soarer's Sat-Nav/TV Screen). I dunno who they are in Perth where u live, but have a look around HPI magazines, sometimes they advertise there.

With a little bit of luck, they might get it work, then all u hav to do is integrate it with one of those sat-nav head units and you can fly blind from perth to anywhere
