I have done a search for this but haven't found anything definitive.

I've busted up my gearbox, and while it's off I was thinking I should do some good servicing to the engine. Is it advisable to replace the big end seal after the engine has done over 200,000km? I know RB25's haven't been known to blow big end bearings regularly, but i figured the engine is getting close to its usable life without a rebuild, i might try and salvage some more km out of it.

So if anyone can let me know what they think, it would be veyr much appreciated.

Cheers,

Leshy
