If it was just a weekend street car, I would definitely go for the JZA80 supra. I've always loved the supra's looks and engine's power potential. Only thing is that they're not the lightest of cars so they won't be the best in the hills, but the GTR isn't all that light either.

Supras are also less of a 'hoon' car to the police from what I've heard, so that must be a good thing.

Edit: On your search, don't forget to try and buy one with the larger 4 pot brakes.

stock supra will climb hills faster than the stock gtr.

pick the car you like, they can both go fast an both are financial money pits so just pick the one you like

im going through this dillema atm......decided to keep the GTR build cost up to 13K already thats not including the work involved tuning etc...

Good choice IMO. At the end of it you might be a touch slower than a Supra, but you won't look like a homo when you're driving around.
