Suzuka Twin Directions

Well I am trying to work out a good way to help people watch drifting in Japan so here is a shot at it.

The gates open at 7am but it is a looong way away from everywhere so

The closest train station to Suzuka Twin (鈴鹿ツイン) is called Shimonoshou (下庄)

Now because most people who visit Japan will have a JR pass I will give the JR route. If you know enough about Japan to use a different line then you don't need these directions anyway But you can type your local station in this website and find the route yourself if you want

FROM OSAKA (3.5 hours ¥2,210)

Osaka -> Tennoji (Osaka Loop Line)

Tennoji -> Kamo (Kansai Line)

Kamo -> Kameyama (Kansai Line)

Kameyama -> Shimonosho (Kisei Line)

FROM KYOTO (3.5 hours ¥1,890)

Kyoto -> Kizu (Nara Line)

Kizu -> Kamo (Kansai Line)

Kamo -> Kameyama (Kansai Line)

Kameyama -> Shimonosho (Kisei Line)

FROM NAGOYA (1.5 hours ¥1,110)

Kamo -> Kameyama (Kansai Line)

Kameyama -> Shimonosho (Kisei Line)

Once you get to Shimonosho there will probably be a whole lot of not much around. So either you need to do some serious walking or catch a taxi. It is around 4km or so would over an hour of exercise. I am not sure if you can go bush bashing east from the station, I will have to try it one day.

Please bear in mind that there is Suzuka Circuit, Suzuka Minami Circuit, Suzuka Twin Circuit and Motorland Suzuka so best idea would be to show them a picture of the map or this address 三重県鈴鹿市三宅町2913-2

Awesome stuff! Thats the sort of directions i need! Possible to do one like that for the Ebisu spring drift festival? Need to get there from around the tokyo area!

Best bet for getting to the track is as early as possible, but it will mean a lot of sitting around doing nothing before the event.
