hi guys

my cousin just brought an r32...he just installed a turbo smart bleed valve, he tried setting it back to stock boost cauz he is yet to purchase a cooler, but his boost guage is saying he is stil running 15psi he told me that he adjusted it with his fingers....but should he use a spanner or sum ohter tool to fully tighten the valve? thanks guys any suggestions will help :)

did he take the restrictor out - put it back in. Then you'll be able to bleed fast enough to have lower psi.

Or try turning the knob anti clockwise to lower boost.

Or provide more details on the way the bleed valve is installed and more details about the way boost is behaving.

If its like my old one take the fitting out of the inlet side, there is a ball bearing and a spring that spikes the boost to 15psi.

They are a waste of time anyway. I gained and extra 10rkw by using one of Sams.

See autospeed.com for a good boost controller that holds boost all the way to the red line. It uses a pressure relief valve and a regulator. You can buy all the parts in Melb. Costs around $180 but its worth it!
