Well the engine as far as I'm aware, is around 80k old, I took em out at around 65k or so. So I'd suspect their at least 7-8 yrs old. engine was put in the car in sept 2000. They were running ok when I took em out, just decided to upgrade to splitfires. They're out of a r33 spec rb25.

you'd be better off getting a set.. because when another one shits itself you'll have spares.. it'll work out cheaper too..

im getting the OEM cos just want my car on the road already, but ill be in touch coz might get the pack just for kicks eg spares
