Option Magazine?

A question for the locals - can you still find option magazine at your local conbini? I used to buy it regularly when I first came to japan (usually option 2, which is a more parts-centric), but I can't find it on the shelves (or even under the shelves) at any of the local stores now...

Is this just my area?

In fact, all of the modified car mags seem to be gone now - there's only the car classified mags and the occasional issue of the 'spy shot' style new car mags...

not exactly in japan, so can't comment about the availability in shops, but I got this month's issue thru subscription. Option2 and Doriten. so they're still being published?

yeah, I had a look on their website (http://www.jdm-option.com/index2.php) earlier, it's just that they used to be everywhere, now it seems (at least in my area) I have to go to a bookshop to find one

They have them right across the street from where i work, Brian. Also the local mag store at my station stocks them.

What were you chasing exactly? I should be able to hook you up.

When i was over there in Jan we were looking everywhere for Option mag,after a week of random searching i just picked up a copy of Option 2. So to here that you are having trouble finding one does sound odd.

yeah i pretty much couldnt find it at any conveniance stores anywhere in japan. Find a book store and your on a winner. Almost all the book stores i went to in Tokyo, Sapporo and Kyoto had either opion, option 2 or drift tengoku
