Hi, i was wondering if anyone can tell me where to stick the vacuum tube for the boost pressure that comes off the back of the Blitz DTT DCIV control unit. The timer is on a series I(.5) R33 gts25t. Any comments (other than "up ur bum") would be a great help.

Cheers

Up your bum :P

Google tells me you have a turbo timer with a map sensor to measure boost... just like a lecky boost gauge.

So just like a boost gauge, if you want it to measure vacuum and boost, you need to plumb it in somewhere between the throttle body and head. Look around, there'll be somewhere you can "T" it in.

FYI: its best practice not to T it in to something thats "mission critical" sensitive to boost, like the FPR.

No response...

This post has a picture that ell help you if your still stuck. The blue boost line goes to the sensor for the stock dash vac/boost gauge.

Thanks for the replies GeeTR. This helped heaps 'cause i now have my dual turbo timer actually doing 2 things. Boost pressure is coming through nicely. Thanks.

Now, if only i'd mounted the control face so that it wasn't blocked by the steering wheel...

Cheers
