Corroded Inlet Pipe

Hi sau,

My top radiator hose pipe keeps splitting or falling off because the manifold inlet pipe has corroded away. I'm pretty sure this was caused by a blocked radiator I had a few months ago.

What's the best way to fix this? Do I need to replace the manifold, or can another pipe just be welded on?

I can upload pics tonight if needed.

you should be able to weld one in or silver solder one in (as long as it's done properly). you may have to take it out depending on how hard it is to get the old pipe out and the new one in...

By the time you remove the manifold to get it repaired, i would just fit a second hand one that isnt corroded
