hey ive just taken out an rb25det and put another motor in as it shit itself.

now the motor is in i have found that its got no spark in cyl 5 & 6 and it runns ike a pig and only will rev to 3.5k.

ive changed the coil packs, spark plugs, crank angle sensor, ignitor etc

anyone got any ideas that can help???

what about the condidition of wiring to the coils from the ignitor, and the wiring to the ignitor from the ecu? it may be possible it got damaged in the engine swap.

Well its not the motor.. thats for sure lol

its an electrical problem obviously. Just check the wiring as the other dude suggested

yea definatly wasnt the motor.

i got the car running now. worked out that it was the connection to the ecu.

it was on tight but not tight enough. i was scared that i might do it up to tight last time but this time i just ripped it up and pushed all the wires down in the plug, so it was a connection problem there.

spent hours goin over the vehical tryin to find this problem.
