hey im creating this topic as well as posting pics and vids of my R33 as i slowly build it up.

any tips and comments about mods that i want to acuire will be greatly appreciated!!

atm my car is stock....

Future Mods -

Air Filter/CAI - stock cold air intae with K and N filter

Exhuast - HKS Hi-Power 409 Exhaust System - Nissan Skyline BCNR33

Extractors - ???(cobys?)

Cat Converter - ???

Any other suggestions welcome!!

Sounds good mate, sound level of basic mods to get ya going.

You could almost sell up and buy a turbo they are that cheap these days

lol na no turbo for me on my Ps mate.... first night i had my car cops already looking under the hood for a turbo he dident belive me when i said its a non turbo. he is like "we will see" and got out of his car and checked lol so yea NA for me!

Well you know modifying the car from stock is also now illegal yeah?

no i got my Ps in Jan this year and the way the cop implyed is that u cant have a turbo on your Ps... so am i still able to modify my car?

You can't have an R33 turbo on your P's as its over the power to weight ratio...New p-platers can't have any turbo cars though.

yea so thats why im keeping it NA and yea do other mods to it ....

so how tough are the jacks actully on enforceing these rulz im not talking some off it head car. im talking a car with an exhuast system?

Also keep in mind that if your insurance company find out that you've got an exhaust, they can reject your claims when you have an accident. So you hit someone, break their legs, they sue you, you go claim insurance to pay him, they reject you for driving a car you shouldn't have (increased power), you're in debt.

You'll most probably get away driving a car with an exhaust, but when/if you have an accident, you've got a lot to lose if the insurance company know what's going on.

I'm not trying to attack you in any way mate, just giving you an idea of what could happen. =]

i have full exhaust on my n/a under new laws and pod filter.. cops dont really care / cant even tell the difference i think they just realize theres no turbo so they don't give a shit, also just act dumb
