Blowing Smoke

hey my skyline blows a little bit of smoke when i put the foot down, does not blow a bit of smoke when the car isnt moving?

whats going on?

If its only a bit, do you see it in the headlights of the car behind? If its grey/black its fuel, and normal.

If it only when you are boosting its fine, Just fuel maybe running rich but nuffin to get to scared about.

As long as its not white/blue smoke its just unburnt fuel.

also how hard is it to replace a steering wheel? with an other air bag?

i have the same problem

when i am in 1st my rev hit pretty hard and launch a lot!!!!!!! of blue/white smoke 2nd it dies down and by 3rd there is nothing, i have a N/A so i dont have a turbo to be a change of problem

you may only be running rich

the way i found my problem was a compression test and found my 5th cylinder was 30psi down to my others so im losting a liter of oil per 200km.

in worst case your piston rings may be wearing down but being you have a turbo its natural to have small amounts of smoke come out

just keep a eye on your oil level and you will b able to tell how serious the problem is

also for a airbag steering wheel

im not sure i remember saying this the other day to a mate because my wheel is worn down and i said i need a new one

he then said HAHAHAHAH very loudly
