Hey guys are you know when changing a battery on a R33 the japanese battery has a smaller terminal size than the ones you buy here in oz.

Is there some kind of attachment you can buy to put on these larger terminals to make them smaller in size so you dont have to fool around with the skyline terminal clamps.

Thanks

i had a panasonic battery in my r33 and had a car accident and car was sitting there for 24 hours and battery was drained .. i got a new battery but a big one the littlet terminals do fit just have to get different screws for them i got it from autopro and i got original terminals running on my r33

Either

- Use a battery with small terminals (they are available here)

- Change the clamps over to larger ones to suit most normal ones

- You can bend/hack the smaller clamps to fit over a larger post. Make sure that you use a longer securing bolt to ensure a tight grip.

I've tried all three methods successfully.

yep you put he correct battery in there. probelm solved.

Agreed, all major battery manufacturers have many combos of polarity config & terminal size with various battery sizes.

Remember to get a 'sealed' battery if the battery is mounted in the boot.
