thinking about installing some GTR style bumper vents, help with intercooler and auto cooler. Found these ones, half the price of just-jap and looks better quality.

Anyone fitted R32 or 33 vents to S2s before ? how do they line up with the bumper curve ?

These guys look like thet make their own fibreglass bumper kits etc, nice if we could get them to pump out some DAYZ kits.

the rectangular vents on the N1 GTR front bumpers next to the number plate.

as a good deal of my intercooler is flush up against my bar reo, the S2 bumpers werent designed for good FMIC flow.

As you can see i have already cut some bumper out below the number plate to help airflow.

G`Day simon have you looked at putting your number plate on some bracket`s & have it sit in the middle then you have it open ???,may be a bit better than cutting hole`s in front bar&reo ,iam now getting bit`s sorted to have front bar cleaned up & put some mesh to protect intercooler,i have sticky number plate.i have just found some S/S pipe for washer bottle + i have to sortout mounting for oil cooler as the washer bottle will act as air deflector & having intercooling pipework modified, did you cut much out of REO ??to fit intercooler ???.Good luck dude, cheer`s chuckie

Gday, I want to keep the factory number plate bracket, the problem is behind the reo, even removing all the number plate and backing will still not get air to behind reo. Not an immense problem, just seeing if others had done anything. I had to cut about an inch out of the reo bar I think to make it fit, reprayed it, looks factory.

Anyway, Unique Autosports here in Sydney sell them for $150 a pair, if that helps.

Just go to the Parts Catalogue section, then GT-R parts, then you'll see them listed as N1 R32 GT-R front bar slots.

Yeah, I noticed that price after I'd already posted, Chook. I was too tired to change my post by that time.

I'd say go with JSAI - for that price, you can afford to break a pair doing the install and still come out only $4 behind!
