Hi all,

last week i picked up my new baby, (R32 GTR) i will be uploading some pics soon.

One thing i have noticed since i got it is the number of idiots that fell the need to ride my arse! this never used to hapen in my old car!

So what i am thinking is, is it the GTR badge on the boot? Im guessing that they just assume that i wanna race them...

Does this hapen to anyone else with GTR's out there?

But i must say that it is very annoying, and one day it will probably turn into road rage!!! :D

Yeah you get f**kers out there that do it.

Their mentality is "oh GTR check it out and see if he wants to race".

Those ppl have no F**king idea cuz they drive shit cars or don't know shit about cars.

If it pisses you off that much, I was told ppl get an Anti Lag system then ya Godzilla will really blow fire! :D

I've noticed this too since buying a skyline. Previous car was a WRX, no one really bothered me, now I get these economy cars up my arse from the lights or they pace next to me wanting to race. Sorry guys not going to waste precious fuel on teaching a lesson to your Mazda 3/Corolla/Crapadore.

tailgaters sh1t me regardless of what car I am driving.

I had this excellent idea - and how good would it be if you could build it.

but basically a small pipe right at the back of your car that releases a really really foul smelling gas/liquid

that would really stick to the tailgaters car- that would get them off pretty damned quick

If its particularly bad tailgating ( and I am doing nothing wrong ) I will tap the brakes and give em a bit of a scare - this results in either them backing off or getting irrationally pissed off hhaha

god I have seen some classic facial expressions in my rear view mirror.

but I mean what does it actually acheive?

on mountsbay road I saw this old and fcking huge F truck right up the arse of a small hatchback - I can tell you right now the hatchback would stop a LOT faster than some old F truck with ancient drum brakes hahah

sounds like a good idea and would not be that hard to do. Just get a generic type windscreen Washer bottle and squirter. and run it under the car with a nozzle facing windscreen height. As for stinky stuff ? God knows what you could use...Stale milk, stale beer....the mind boggles

Ive had to do that too, strangely enough though it happened in my previous car ( Lantra ) havent had any dramas in the Skyline which Im suprised about. Why people must sit on my arse I will never know, dont they realise Im gonna hit the breaks and go slower? LOL

Another solution I was recommended was to carry small bags of 5c pieces (or any other shrapnel you can find, like old nails or something).

If someone tailgates you, speed up. If they decide to speed up too, grab a handful of these coins, pull to the left, and toss the coins out the back. You'd be unsurprised at what driving into small bits of metal at 70km/hr does to the front of a car, and it costs you very little.

It was even better when 1c pieces were in circulation. You could toss a lot of metal out for the cost of a soft serve.

    • Not stock. All remade. Mostly looks stock because the pipes run to and from the standard holes in the inner guard to get to the return flow FMIC. I'm not sure which question you're trying to ask, because it seems like "stock position" vs "stock position".
    • Hey, it's a GT-R, it's just as significant a moment as mine😁 It's not ideal when things are uncertain; I'm the type of person that always has a set plan for things in life so being unsure of this plan puts me in a weird place mentally.
    • Hows your intake piping? Are you still running stock? Having in the stock AFM position would mean, if the BOV was shut/venting out, it'd create the almost stalling kind of effect right // "the rich pulse behaviour" due to MAF thinking air is flowing ? But this would be better than having the bov in the stock position + MAF on/just before cross over piping right?
    • Essentially, yes. Although I wouldn't put the AFM on the crossover pipe. I'd want to put it into what amounts to the correct size tube, which is more easily done in the intercooler pipework. I bought a mount tube for card style AFM that replaces the stock AFM - although being a cheap AliExpress knockoff, it had no flange and I had to make and weld my own. But it is the same length and diameter as the stock RB AFM, goes on my airbox, etc etc. I don't have a sick enough rig to warrant anything different, and the swap will take 5 minutes (when I finally get around to it and the injectors & the dyno tune).
    • So to summarise, the best thing to do is to move recirc to between turbo and IC, and maf on the crossover pipe. Meaning I'd need a recirc flange, drill a hole in the piping on turbo outlet area. And drill hole on crossover to fit/weld maf sensor? Either that or put the MAF on the turbo inlet right?  Is an aftermarket recirc/blowoff valve recommended? Do currently have family in Japan so could probably bring something back with maybe a cheeky lil SuperAutobacs run?
