New Heat Shield For Pods

hi guys, i have just made up a heat shield or a box to cover up the twin pods with 0.5mm thick aluminium. its all done now but i am just thinking should i stick some kind of foam on the inside of the box to insulate the heat better? but i kind of believe that foamy things will catch fire right? and i guess it shouldnt appear anywhere in the engine bay?

what do you guys do to your air box?

foam is fine. and a good idea. talk to your local clark rubber or similar. they can reccommend something good. eg: ppl use neoprene (wetsuit stuff) to insulate IC piping
